Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes prohibited uses of the GetLeadsFromAI Service. It is part of our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms. The examples below are not exhaustive. We may update this AUP as described in the Terms.

You may not use the Service to:

• violate any applicable law, regulation or court order, or encourage others to do so;
• infringe or misappropriate intellectual property, publicity or privacy rights;
• harass, threaten, defame or discriminate against any person or business, or promote violence or hate;
• market or support illegal goods or services, or businesses requiring a license you do not hold;
• submit content that is unlawful, obscene, exploitative of minors, or contains malware or malicious code.

You may not use the Service, its reports or its recommendations to:

• create, buy, sell or solicit fake, incentivized-but-undisclosed, or AI-generated reviews or testimonials, engage in review gating or suppression, or otherwise violate the FTC's Trade Regulation Rule on the Use of Consumer Reviews and Testimonials (16 C.F.R. Part 465);
• publish false or misleading claims about your business or competitors, impersonate another business or person, or create fake listings, profiles or locations;
• engage in spam, link schemes, astroturfing, sockpuppet accounts or undisclosed paid posting on forums, communities or review sites (including Reddit and directories);
• attempt to manipulate AI systems through prompt injection, hidden text, cloaking, data poisoning or other deceptive techniques intended to mislead AI models or their users;
• violate the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act, the FTC Act or comparable laws.

• Add a business as your own, or as a client, only if you own it, work for it or are authorized to represent it. Tracking competitors' public AI visibility as a comparison is permitted.
• Do not use the Service to target, track, profile or surveil individuals, or enter personal information about individuals into prompts or competitor fields.
• Do not use the Service to make decisions about consumers' eligibility for credit, employment, insurance, housing or similar purposes. GetLeadsFromAI is not a consumer reporting agency.

• Install the attribution snippet only on websites you control or are authorized to manage.
• Disclose the snippet in your website's privacy notice and obtain all consents required by law, including under the Florida Security of Communications Act (Chapter 934, Florida Statutes) and other wiretapping and privacy laws, before enabling any capture of form contents.
• Never configure the snippet to collect passwords, payment card data, Social Security numbers, health information, children's data or other sensitive information.
• Do not attempt to re-identify pseudonymous or hashed data.

You may not:

• access the Service by automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) except through interfaces we provide, or scrape, harvest or extract data from the Service;
• reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Service, or attempt to derive its source code, scoring methods or prompt libraries, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law;
• probe, scan or test vulnerabilities, or bypass authentication, rate limits, usage limits or security measures, except under a coordinated disclosure arrangement with us (contact security@getleadsfromai.com);
• interfere with or disrupt the Service, impose an unreasonable load, or abuse the free scan (for example with multiple or disposable email addresses);
• resell, sublicense, rent, time-share or white-label the Service except as allowed by your plan;
• use the Service to build a competing product or to benchmark it for publication without consent;
• share accounts or credentials, or access another customer's data.

Prompts you create are sent to third-party AI providers. You must not create prompts that violate the usage policies of those providers (including OpenAI, Google, Anthropic and Perplexity), such as prompts seeking illegal, harmful or deceptive content.

Report suspected violations to legal@getleadsfromai.com. We may investigate suspected violations and may, at our discretion and without liability, remove content, limit features, suspend or terminate accounts, withhold refunds for violations, and cooperate with law enforcement. Where practicable we will notify you and give you an opportunity to respond, unless the violation is serious, ongoing, or notice would be unlawful or compromise an investigation.
